WOOLLY SHEEP NEST BUILDER for your feathered friends

Wild birds put a lot of time into selecting material to build their nests, and for hundreds of years they have used wool to insulate and protect their young. In the countryside they can often be seen picking wool from barbed wire and brambles.

Our Nester's are handmade from cut to shape steel and wire moulded onto a stainless steel frame and sprayed with rust protector. They include a twine rope handle to easily hang near bird feeders or from branches.
The bird nest builder comes pre-filled with 20g of our own wool which we have cut into 1" sections. This allows the birds to easily pull it out (as per our video, which was made with haste, to prevent disturbing them).
Our wool comes from our own Romney flock here in Sussex, it has been washed and gently teased to make nesting easier.
Nest building can take up a lot of the birds energy, and with the help of more natural material being accessible within your garden, the birds will have more energy for the more important tasks of egg laying and rearing their young.
